#1 · May 2, 2011. My battery died last night and now the VDC light is on. Last time this happened to me, I had to bring it to the dealer to get it reset. I dont want to have to bother with that if I dont really have to. Is there any easy way to get that reset? Using a aftermarket Mass Airflow Sensor - they don't work as good as OEM. 2).VDC and slip lights sound unrelated and usually mean you've got an ABS code, so get that pulled and go from there.
